Children’s Ministry

ENSURING YOUR CHILD’S SAFETY
We take very careful steps to ensure the safety of every child who attends our programs, and we want parents to feel confident that their children are being well cared for. Therefore, we take many steps to ensure their safety, including the following:

1. Every children’s worker must submit to a complete government background check.
2. We require at least two adults to be present at all times in our children’s ministries.
3. Every classroom is equipped with windows.

Nursery Care

Available During Most Services

Ages: children under 3 years

We offer nursery care for children under the age of 3 so that you can focus your heart without distraction. Our nursery is located in our West Wing and welcomes newborns through three-years-olds.

We strive to make the Nursery a safe, comfortable place where your little ones are cared for by committed volunteer church members who have been carefully trained.

The Nursery is open for drop off 15 minutes prior to service time. It can be accessed through the west door, next to the driveway and creek.

During the 11am Service, the two-year-olds have a break out teaching time just for them. Once they are potty trained, and turn 3, they can move on to Tiny Tots church.

We can text you if we need to contact you during a service. There is a private area available for nursing mothers. If you have a sick child that needs to sit out of the Nursery during a service, there is a video monitor downstairs in the lobby where you can take your child and still enjoy the service.

Treasure Seekers Club

Meets Wednesday Evenings @ 7:00

Ages: children 3 years through 6th Grade

Calling all children three-years-old through sixth grade to join an exciting kids program on Wednesday nights! Placing a huge emphasis on memorizing the treasure of God’s Word, kids are rewarded through a system of points with material treasures!

Club meets from 7pm to 8:25pm every Wednesday evening. Kids are split up into age groups, and enjoy a classroom lesson from the Bible, fun games in the gym, and snacks.

Club dues are $0.50 per week, and club hats may be purchased for $2.50. Everyone is welcome to come, so bring a friend!

Each club meets in the classrooms of the North Building. As kids memorize Bible passages, they are rewarded with points, which then can be redeemed for quality toys on Prize Redemption Nights. The TS director pulls out all the stops, and turns the Teen Room into a gigantic toy store!

SOS Teen Ministry

Meets Wednesday Evenings @ 7:00

Ages: Teens in 7th – 12th Grade

Each Wednesday night of the school year, the youth group (grades seven through twelve) meets downstairs at 7:00 pm for a time of interesting games, food, practical teaching from the Bible, and competitions.

The Bible teaching is the highlight of the evening. Messages are tailored for what teens are currently facing in their lives, and give practical application from God’s Word, the Bible.

SOS also has monthly activities that range from in-house games to off-campus events. Highlights of the year always include “The Hunt” in January, and the Red Eye in March.

Kids’ Church

Meets Sunday Mornings @ 11:00

Ages: 4 years – 1st Grade | 2nd – 6th Grade

During the 11:00 am service on Sunday mornings we have special services just for our children. The morning is filled with things such as fun singing, memorizing verses, listening to a Bible lesson, playing exciting review games, and hearing a missionary story. Lessons are tailored specifically to help them grow in their walk with God.

Our children also spend some of this time working on songs to sing periodically for the adults during the 11:00 service.

TINY TOTS CHURCH
Ages: 2-3 years

Tiny Tots Church is just like the other Kids Churches except that it is for 2’s and 3’s, and they don’t practice a song to sing in the auditorium. Our workers do a great job helping to develop their understanding of Who God is and how they can live in a way to please Him. Although they may not understand the gospel yet, the seeds are being planted and their hearts prepared so that when the time comes in which they do understand, the Holy Spirit can work in their young hearts and convict them of their need for a Savior!
