What To Expect
SEASONED WITH GRACE
Every church has a unique flavor. At “the Fellowship of Amazing Grace” we want to remember that the ground is level at the foot of the cross. This reminds us that we in spite of our differences we all stand before God in the same way – in Desperate need of His grace. And so we extend the invitation to each visitor to join us as we seek to draw closer to our amazing Savior.
ATMOSPHERE
It’s important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We hope our atmosphere will help you feel relaxed and comfortable. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted and welcomed.
MUSIC
We believe that music is a key part of our worship. The combination of biblical truth and appropriate music should stir our souls without becoming pure emotionalism. Therefore, we use conservative music which meets these goals. During our morning worship a number of our members play their instruments along with the congregational singing.
FAMILY FRIENDLY
Our intent is to serve the whole family. During our Sunday morning worship service we have care available for infants and children. Your children will receive real spiritual training from a group of caring leaders during this time. During our evening services we provide nursery care for children under the age of 3. Children over the age of 3 join us in the auditorium where our Pastor intentionally prepares to include spiritual truths that they can understand.
Service Format
Our services are designed to worship God and build up believers. Each service is slightly different with some varying elements such as reading Scripture together or praying for the missionaries we support, but all of our services contain singing together and preaching.
Practical Preaching
We place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. From the pulpit you will hear sound expository preaching designed to help you to grow to become more like Christ.
What Should I Wear?
We are more concerned about you and your presence with us than we are with what you wear. As a church, when we gather to worship the Lord on Sundays we like to dress up a little more out of reverence for our great God. Most of our members wear something in the range of business formal to business casual. Our Wednesday services are slightly more casual since our children and teenagers engage in athletic games.
Multicultural
We are blessed to have members from many diverse backgrounds. Indonesian, Honduran, African American, Bulgarian, Chinese, Filipino, Caucasian… our skin or culture may differ, but we are all created in the image of God and we love one another dearly!
